The Central Valley Brass is a brass quintet featuring two trumpets, French horn, trombone, and tuba. This group was founded by Ernie Bucio in 1980. There is likewise an enormous amount of literature written for this combination of instruments. Outside events might be more conductive to this grouping of instruments as brass are, in general, louder than woodwinds. Both the Camaraderie Quintet and the Central Valley Brass also perform Christmas selections.
